| Ledyard Brass - this group is comprised of two trumpets, horn, trombone, and tuba. The group rehearses after school one day a week for two hours. It performs classical, popular, spiritual and some jazz. The group performs without a conductor, performs at LHS Music Concerts and does several field trips to area schools and senior centers. Auditions open to all. |
| Ledyard Saxes - this group is comprised of two altos, two tenors, and baritone sax. The group rehearses after school. It performs classical, popular, spiritual and some jazz. The group performs without a conductor, performs at LHS Music Concerts and does several field trips to area schools and senior centers, as well as the April music trip. Auditions open to all. |
| Ledyard Winds - this group is comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, horn, and bass clarinet. The group rehearses after school once a week. It performs classical, popular, spiritual and some jazz. The group performs without a conductor, performs at LHS Music Concerts and does several field trips to area schools and senior centers. Auditions open to all. |
| Jazz Band - this group is comprised of two alto saxes, two tenor saxes, baritone sax, four trumpets, for trombones, guitar, bass, piano, and drums. The group rehearses in the Band Room beginning at the end of September. It performs swing, Latin, and rock arrangements of well-known jazz tunes. The group performs without a conductor, performs at LHS Music Concerts and does several field trips to area schools and senior centers, as well as the April music trip. Auditions open to all. |
| Percussion Ensemble - this group is comprised of all percussion instruments. The group rehearses once a week beginning at the end of September. It has performed several selections from the show Stomp, including Broomshilda and Stinkin' Garbage. The group performs at LHS Music Concerts. Auditions open to all percussionists. |

| Carolers – SATB choir that performs a cappella holiday music. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm. during the first semester. Carolers perform at the Holiday Concert, as well as many outside venues (private parties, nursing homes, community events) during the holiday season. Auditions are held in the Spring. See the Music News Board outside of the Band Room for eligibility requirements. Carolers is directed by Mr. Hammond. |
| Ledyard Musical Theatre– open to all students, with auditions in January, LMT rehearses once a week and is an ensemble that provides students with an opportunity to perform either a musical or musical review each year. LMT is directed by Mr. Hammond |
| Premier - all female a cappella group that performs a large variety of music, including pop and "lighter" repertoire. Rehearsals are Monday nights from 6:00 - 7:30pm all year. Premier performs several times a year, including at the Holiday and Pops Concerts. Auditions are in September and are open to all women not in Chamber Choir, Carolers or A Cabellas. Premier is directed by Mrs. Joy Lamb |
| Final Cut - all male group that performs a large variety of contemporary a cappella music. Rehearsals are Wednesday evening from 7:30 -9:00 p.m. Final Cut performs at the Holiday and Pops Concerts, as well as several other times throughout the year. Auditions are held in the Spring and are open to all men. Final Cut is a student run ensemble. |
| Voice Male- all male a cappella group that performs a large variety of music including pop, barbershop, and other "lighter" repertoire. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30. Voice Male performs several times a year, including at the Holiday and Pops Concerts. The group is selected based on teacher recommendation in the fall. Voice Male is directed by Mr. Lambert |
