AND FESTIVALS OF MUSIC Financial Info & Payment Schedule Health Medication Form Trip Itinerary On Wednesday, September 1 the Ledyard Board of Education approved our proposal for a trip to Washington DC the weekend of April 14-17, 2011. Highlights of the trip include, lots of great sight-seeing in our nations capital, performing at a nationally adjudicated music festival, attendance at a Dinner/Theatre production in DC and, of course, a day spent on the rides at Six Flags Great Adventure. To help defray the $540 cost of the trip, and in order to help as many students a possible attend we will be providing several fundraising opportunities over the course of the year. The following fundraisers will be offered during the 1st semester. Magazine Sale—Beginning date, Wednesday, September 8, ending date Monday, September 20 Little Caesar—beginning date, Tuesday, October 12, ending date Monday, October 25 |

Washington DC February 2011 Update

The start of the new semester will see an increase in the amount of focus spent on getting ready for the trip
to Washington DC April 14-17. In the coming weeks students will have the opportunity to sign up for
buses and hotel rooming. This information will be posted on the Music News Board and it is the students
responsibility to sign up. On March 1, if students have not fulfilled their responsibility, the music staff will
assign them to a bus and to a room. Also, all money for the trip is due by Friday, February 4th. Since we have lost a week of school it seems fair to amend the due date one week. All trip payments should be made by Friday, February 11. Please contact Mr. Hammond immediately if you have questions or concerns. |
