Pirates of Penzance
On May 14th, 15th and 16th 2004, the Ledyard Drama and Music Departments performed the musicical "Pirates Of Penzance" in Gaucher Auditorium at Ledyard High School. The performance featured both music and drama students, as well as a complete pit orchestra filled with Ledyard Alumni, Ledyard Teachers, Coast Guard Band members and Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra musicians. This production was directed and designed by Ledyard's very own Mr. Paul Zotos who never stops amazing us with his dramatic leadership. Mr. Russ Hammond provided the superb musical direction. Ms. Meryl Rockefeller, who will be retireing from Ledyard High School at the end of this year, was the managing director who pulled all the pieces together to make this outstanding show run smoothly. And a very special thanks to Chris Cherry ('93), Katrina McGuire ('97), Joe Gates ('97), Mike Lastella ('01), Russ Facente ('02), Kari Whitaker ('02), and Erica Webb ('03) for there help and continued support of LHS Drama. Congratulations to everyone involved and thanks for another world-class show for everyone to enjoy!
